Alfred joined HKYO in 2019 with an Child Development Associate Degree and years working with children at various organizations. He began his teaching career with the Community Renewal Team.
Alfred started at (CRT) as Substitute, Floater and eventually a Teacher Assistant in permanent classroom. Mr. Feliciano has stepped into his mentoring role, seamlessly, working with youth who are referred to us by DCF, The Village and other CT Agencies. His background is filled with supervisory roles, using evaluation tools, Early Screening Intervention (ESI) and various assessments to focus on the child’s needs first and foremost. Alfred is now an employee at the Hispanic Health Council, working as a Nutrition Educator, working with children from Pre-K to 8th grade at various public schools. He is still a student himself, completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services.
